The Sit Studio began with my personal journey to feeling empowered through meditation. I understand what it feels like to feel stressed out and overwhelmed —I've been there. I found meditation while I was struggling with insomnia, anxiety, and getting sick all the time.
Meditation changed my life so drastically that I spent three years training to become a teacher. I now use my signature training method to help clients develop and sustain their own daily practice to help boost energy, become more productive, and live a healthier and happier life.

The Philosophy
With so much intimidation around meditation, I created a mindfulness training program for the non-meditator. The Sit Studio Method is a stripped down approach to help you incorporate meditation into your busy life. You'll learn powerful tools to care for your mind and walk away with a meditation practice you can do anywhere, anytime.Professional Background
Before starting The Sit Studio, Danica worked in the tech industry with companies like Parsley Health and Ancient Nutrition.She received her bachelor's degree from the Ivey Business School at Western University and rounded out her training with a number of certifications including being certified as a Health Coach through The Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
She was formally trained in New York City with MNDFL where she received her 400 Hr Meditation Teacher certification, has trained with Google's SIYLI Program, and is a certified Pilates Instructor through The Pilates Method Alliance® (PMA®).
Danica is in private practice and also sees clients with Well.ca. She teaches a weekly meditation class with Hoame where she loves to connect with the larger community.
